Default Interesting Day of College FB

I think I watched most of 4 games (Tejas/OU, USC/ASU, LSU/FL and MO/OK.St.). Partial of at least 5-6 games (TT/NU, OS/WSU, UO/UCLA, Georgia/Tenn., OSU/Purdue MSU/NW. Flipped through some other games too like Minn and the KU games. I can't even remember who they were playing lol!

Anyways, some of my observations. UT/OU games was pretty good. Thought OU would blow them out early as they seemed unstoppable. Texas defense played much better than I thought. Probably the best game on TV other than the MO/Okie St game.

LSU is overrated. Classic case of SEC playing nothing but 1 AA teams then crying about how tought the SEC is. They got their collective butts handed to them. It was a true beat down.

TT is also overrated. Hadn't played anybody and almost lost to a pretty weak defensive NU team. Game should have been won by NU.

The Pac 10 games were pretty boring. Even from an SC homer that game was bad. The other 2 well they were even worse. Poor Wazzu. They really do stink. Watch though SC will probably be favored by 50+ and win by 20. Never finished the Duck/UCLA game. That was hard to watch.

The Okie St. game was pretty good too. I figured the Okies would score since Mizzu has had some teams score on them like Illinois. Chase Daniels is pretty amazing even though he tossed 3 picks. I think he only missed on 4-5 passes in the second half and 3 went to the other team. Think they were overrated as well and think Texas will put a hurting on them due to their lack of defense. Texas will score.

Bottomline is there really should be a playoff system. That and Division I schools should not be allowed to schedule non Division I schools like the SEC so loves to do. At least the Pac 10 typically does that and are willing to travel X country.

Question Re: Interesting Day of College FB

Now that we've all had a chance to see the teams play, who's going to play in the NC?

I'm going with Penn State vs. Alabama. PSU doesn't really have anybody left that they shouldn't beat. Alabama still has LSU away and Auburn at home.

Backlash, I am with you!!! There should never be a question "Now that we've all had a chance to see the teams play, who's going to play in the NC?". It should be decided on the field, not by speculation or coaches whining. A long ways to go yet. Let's not have a big ten school stinking up another "tittle game".
