The first good tuna report came in today from the home port with one of our friends bringing in 49 today and fished from 30-40 miles out. So it looks like I'm sleeping in my own bed and slaying the bullets from Charleston this weekend. Here we go baby!!!

And reports of 14 mi Tuna!!! Wow I could make two trips!!!

I do have to admit they are a lot closer up there than where we're headed, but do you drive 2 1/2 hours to fish at 20 miles out or stay home and fish 30-40? I personally would like a short boat ride but the drive home is what would suck the most.
