Default T-Bay jetty for Salmon

If one was too fish the jetty and wanted to try and target salmon how would you go about rigging your line? bobber with herring plug? jigs? other baits? We will be there all weekend and would like to toss my pole in the water to try and pick up a salmon while my son and girlfriend try and catch other fish.

T-Bay has no returning coho to speak of for the sake of fishing. but just 10 miles or less is n-bay and it has some nooks and maybe just maybe some coho close enough to catch. Your best bet is to break out the plastic and go for a half day charter out of tillamook.

A late springer is a possibilty.

I'd try whole herring rigged on a RSK 4-6ft. under a bobber.

You want to fish around the slack tide. High is 1:28 pm Sat and 2:16 Sun.

When the flow slows enough that your not casting and retrieving too much rig your herring.

Until then jig plastics for bottomfish on leadheads.

Have fun.
