Default All right, I\'m game for Depoe

It's been a while since I've been up that way but the tuna voices in my head have been driving me nuts. Especially when they're still sitting 40-50 miles from my port. Desperate times call for desperate measures. Is there a good place to camp nearby there? I'm game for the ifish rodeo on sunday. The weather seems like it's going to cooperate so let the tuna flags fly baby!! I'm sure there will be other ifishers there so when does the usual fleet head out? Daylight I'm assuming.

We plan to have Pacific Mistress leaving port at 5:am Friday, Saturday and
Sunday. I usually monitor channel 80 (vhf) and channel 13 (cb) if you need
to get hold of me for any reason.

Heading north eh Jim? Well you should have a slaughter. For camping, I've stayed at Beverly Beach SP before. It's by otter crest north of Newport. Not a bad campground and it's right on the beach so if Allyson comes up, she won't be bored out of her mind.
Beverly Beach Park

I don't know if there'll be any openings or not. If there are, you can make a reservation. plus they have yurts if you don't want to drag up the tent or camper.

Post how you do, I'm fishing vicariously through you Hopefully in August I'll be able to get out and experience tuna fishing for myself.

Beverly beach camground is a very pretty campground and probably only 5-6 miles south of Depoe just over and at the bottom of Foulweather.
