There's no campgrounds in Depoe Bay itself. There is Beverly Beach just south of Cape Foulweather that has camping areas though. That's the closest that I can think of right off.

there is another state park just North of DB on Hwy 101. I recall seeing the sign on Saturday and thinking that would be pretty close and I could sleep in if I stayed there.

I pulled out a map and it shows Fogerty Creek State Park is indeed just north of DB about three miles, and that is a guess. Much closer than Beverly Beach at Newport.

May be there Sunday as well.

As far as I know Fogerty Creek is a Day use park only. I do not believe there is camping allowed there.

What do you use/how do you camp? IIRC Fogarty creek is RVs only,... No tents

<font size="2" face="verdana, arial, helv">Hi Jamie. Long time and never heard how the last part of your trip turned out when I saw ya.

Didn't know you could RV it at Fogarty?

I'll give Rick a call at the Beacon and see if there are any other alternatives. They used to have some tent camping on there property.

Allot of the ifisher's camp in there trucks and/or boats at the boat ramp parking lot when they come over for tuna fishing.
