Re: Anybody up for Ben and Jerrys?
It's amazing how idiotic their proposals are - and for them to make national news just adds fuel to their fire. Aside from the eewwww! factor, the quality control issues would be a nightmare. They would have to test for at least 350 different chemicals....and cows don't do crack!

HAHAHAHAHA There are not enough words in all the languages of all corners of the world to adequately describe the hilarity of this letter

Re: Anybody up for Ben and Jerrys?
That letter ... words can't do it justice. That is a divinely inspired piece of comedy, even if unintended.
I can just see it too. Lines of women down at Tillamook, waiting their turn in the diary.
PETA encourages dehumanizing slavery! News at 11.

Re: Anybody up for Ben and Jerrys?
The AUP and common sense won't allow me to address how I feel about PETA and that kind.
That said, IF the news media and people would/could just ignore this kind of non-sense then we would all be much better off.

I agree. What a waste of print and bandwidth.

Re: Anybody up for Ben and Jerrys?
Fun stuff. Does make you think though.. we've been conditioned to think that cow milk is less weird for us to drink than human milk. In reality it's kind of weird for any species to drink another species milk, especially after infancy.
the other thing is that the thought of drinking another animal's milk sounds gross (like pig milk. it just sound gross) but is it really any weirder than a cow?

Re: Anybody up for Ben and Jerrys?
Goat's milk is popular. I guess it depends on availability. Most humans are unwilling to share their milk, and animals have no choice.
How about we just keep it that way, okay?

Re: Anybody up for Ben and Jerrys?
Goat's are slaves too. If we can't use cow milk who is going to hire all the unemployed dairy cows? Cow welfare? Or....<shudder>....the butcher/cow murderer.
A lot of kids aren't eating meat now, good on them.
How bout the first guy who drank cow milk:
"Hey, ya see that wild cow over there? Hold my beer and watch this "

Would the milk from Chinese women be tainted with Melamine?

Re: Anybody up for Ben and Jerrys?
Are we sure this isn't a hoax or something? I have a hard time believing the executive vice president of any national organization would suggest something like this. Possibly the most asinine thing I have ever heard.

Re: Anybody up for Ben and Jerrys?
Oh man...that one cracked me up!
I love Ben & Jerry's ice cream...the best out there IMHO! But if they switch to human breast milk like these whackos want them to, they won't get another dime from me!
I am the jokester, and I approve this message!!

Looks like PETA is getting the publicity they want.
A chef in Switzerland had planned on using human milk in his dishes before the government ended his endeavor. http://www.nydailynews.com/money/200...ith_breas.html

We can all rest assured our Ben&Jerry's favorite flavor is safe from this lunacy!

Maybe the new flavors would have female names?????
PETA keeps driving nails in their coffin, go ahead keep hammering. The mainstream Americans are getting a better picture of this group.

and it's better to force feed human's hormones to keep their glands producing milk than to milk a cow that does it naturally?

Re: Anybody up for Ben and Jerrys?
Ummm, I thought as long as a mother is nursing milk production will continue, no marvels of modern science required, wet nurses were pretty common.
