Kimbo Slice TKO'ed in 14 sec.
Seth Petrocellie, stopped him in 14 secs of the first round.
Seth was a last minute fill in to take Slice on and that he did.

Re: Kimbo Slice TKO'ed in 14 sec.
whatch the replay.....Does any of the hits Slice took look like they would knock a three year old down????
I am serious.
I am also not a K.Slice fan.
I do however whatch the punches thrown....the reaction to the impacts of those punches and the cumulation of the potential effect of those punches.
I have seen movies of co-eds having a pillow fight that had punches more devastating than the punches that put Kimbo down.
Maybe there was someone on the grassy knoll. I smell something fishy.

Re: Kimbo Slice TKO'ed in 14 sec.
I found the video...not sure what to think.
The punch that knocked him down was off camber and didn't seem to have a whole lot on it.

i was thinking the samething.. Seth had his front leg off the ground and he hits him with a short right cross.. i told my wife how could you get knocked out with that punch??? i wouldnt' think you'd have much power off one foot... Seth didn't really connect with many punches while Bimbo was on the ground but the last 3 or 4 punches landed square on his face. I'm glad someone knocked that bum out
Was Vince Mcmahon in the crowd? i did see Hulk Hogan... maybe we'll see him tearing it up on Monday night Raw...LOL makes me think so

Re: Kimbo Slice TKO'ed in 14 sec.
I agree with that as well. A few fights before they allowed the guy down to get hit three more times after he was bouncing his head off the canvas.

Re: Kimbo Slice TKO'ed in 14 sec.
That first punch did some damage, he was cut pretty good around the eye socket. The rest of the punches on the ground were just for show, none of them looked to connect.
I also agree, Kimbo will be working for Vince McMahon soon, they can only media hype this guy so long before people figure out he aint all that..

Re: Kimbo Slice TKO'ed in 14 sec.
I didn't think the punch looked very devastating, but just after the ref stopped the fight Kimbo the ref was on top of Kimbo. It looked like kimbo was pulling the ref into the guard position. That's a sign of being hurt bad.
Yeah, the fight blew. Slice doesn't have the skills to compete.
Andrei Arlovski had a hard time finishing off a big overweight tub of goo. Andre looks like he has slid downhill.
Will this Elite XC go belly up since their "star" fighter hit the canvas in 1/2 minute?

What do you think of tito joing up? Is he still with Jenna Jamison? The female fight was sweet!

Re: Kimbo Slice TKO'ed in 14 sec.
I stayed up to watch that? That was a setup from the beginning - including Shamrock's last minute bail-out. Come on, it was the right hand to the right eye that put Kimbo down. It was Kimbo's left eye that was bleeding. Kelly Kobold took several hits to the head that were harder than that.

Re: Kimbo Slice TKO'ed in 14 sec.
I was flipping channels and didn't know the fight was on non-pay cable. I luckily caught the fight. I have seen several fights were one gets knocked out by what seems to be a light blow.
If the gloves were clean, the hit must have had something of a twist and some force otherwise why the two cuts? Once just over the eye and one just under the eye.

Well.... as I stated before, Kimbo is nothing more than an MMA joke. Kinda like what Vanilla Ice was to hip hop.
Someone stated "give him a chance"..... he got his chance and it lasted 13 or so seconds. He got beat and I mean beat by a low level MMA fighter. He couldn't even take a stiff jab from a guy that weighed 40 pounds less than him.
As I stated before, there is a big reason Dana White refused to sign him. He just exposed that on national TV.
He needs to go back to the hood and scrap it out for dimes in parking lots. His claim to fame is You Tube.
Anyone who who has spent any time training in MMA knows the hardest punch thrown is a quick short punch. That right hand that put him down was a hard shot. You loose zero power when a punch like that connects on the button. Those big hay maker Chuck Liddel swings look good but those short punches will eat your lunch. Ali made his living knocking guys out with those.

Re: Kimbo Slice TKO'ed in 14 sec.
All I know is that Kimbo got payed and Ken Shamrock is kicking himself for not stepping up...I don't think that any one of those punches was enough to knockout Kimbo, the 1st one may have stunned him but he was far from a KO in my mind. All and all they were good fights (minus the main) and I now have a new respect for woman fighters...that chick was smokin!

Re: Kimbo Slice TKO'ed in 14 sec.
If the ref hadn't of stopped it, Kimbo is messed up bad. He couldn't even defend himself on the last three or four punches. The guy was just getting started on Kimbo when the ref stepped in.

Re: Kimbo Slice TKO'ed in 14 sec.
I'm glad Kimbo got what he deserves. When he was walking into the ring. I told my daughter "I hope this punk (kimbo) get's knocked out by this no name fighter!!!"
Kimbo is not used to taking a punch. Seth may not be the best fighter, but he IS a trained fighter. You can tell he was intimidated by Kimbo's size, but he kept fighting as he backed up. A good front kick to stop him and a short jab to the eye stunned him. The blows to his head while he was on the ground may not have looked like much, but I wouldn't want to be on the receiving end.
The chick fight was AWESOME. I'm liked the way Gina pummeled the little hood rat. That was good.

Re: Kimbo Slice TKO'ed in 14 sec.
Gina was so much more technical than the other girl. You could tell that she had trained for years, and was disciplined, the other girl was just an eye gouger and foot stomper. Yikes.
The Kimbo fight was kind of a let down, it was nice to see a loss handed to him, but I really wanted to see what Shamrock served up. Congrats to Petrucelli though, nice to get your name out there like that.

That is a great theory, I could see how EliteXC rigged a loss for their poster boy/lifeline in Kimbo Slice, also makes good business sense to lose to a UFC reject.
You all strike me as knowledgable MMA fans.
Not trying to pick on you GunDog...just poking fun, I was glad that Kimbo finally got exposed for the amateur fighter that he is.

Re: Kimbo Slice TKO'ed in 14 sec.
The fix was in alright, putting Kimbo in the cage with washed up (hasn't won a fight in four years) Shamrock was all for show. The bail out was no suprise. Too bad they didnt tell Petruzelli that he wasn't supose to win.
I smell the end of Elite XC.

Yea what a setup Ken Shamrocks stitches under his eye in that interview was fake...what a joke this organization is...It's WWE all over again.
And that clean chin shot that seth landed on kimbo, ya know the one that dropped him...that was doctored by the CBS production crew, it was actually a thumb in the eye that you didnt see...
Or maybe it was one of seths grazing shots from the side while Kimbo was down that cut him...
it was all a ploy...there is no way Kimbo could lose, the guy had like 50 bum fights and 49 by way of knockout. I don't believe a guy of that caliber can lose, no way.

Re: Kimbo Slice TKO'ed in 14 sec.
Hey, I could have cared less who won. I'm just saying from what I saw, the whole things was a joke. If the guy was so big and bad, a little thumb in the eye shouldn't have drove him to his knees. And why did the ref jump in and call it so quick?

The funniest part was when Frank Shamrock was talking trash about Ken for getting cut during warm-ups and letting down the Shamrock family.

Re: Kimbo Slice TKO'ed in 14 sec.
It didnt get stopped early, Kimbo was OUT! After he got up and was talking to his trainers, he asked what happened and if hed been hit! When his arms were stretched out in a direction that wasnt protecting himself, thats a good indication that hes out! His arms were stiff.

Dude.....
If the ref didn't stop the fight, Kimbo could have been hurt in a bad way. His arms was stretched out, eyes open, wouldn't protect himself..... Done. The street thug has no respect. Wouldn't do a simple interview, couldn't even give a post fight statement.... No respect, just a bum.
Anyone who has even really given any real thought would know if it was this so called "set up", the plan was to make the comapany go belly up.
Kimbo finally got exposed and it only took one "decent" MMA fighter to do it.

Re: Kimbo Slice TKO'ed in 14 sec.
The most amazing part was how completely clueless the anouncers were. "The biggest upset in MMA history". Are you kidding me? Kimbo couldn't make it through one round with a bonnified 155lb UFC Fighter.

Re: Kimbo Slice TKO'ed in 14 sec.
just watched it on youtube. what a joke. CBS should be ashamed for putting that crap on TV. Not only did the fight suck, but they make it look so scripted. It's all about the money anyway.
