When you leaving? for this trip?. Do you know how to use a Map & Compass? Those two items should be with your Hunting Lic.

When you get to your hunting camp. Soon as you get out of your Rig. MAKE WAY POINT!!!.. That is HOME. write those numbers down too. Make sure your gps matches datum Of your map. (helps & saves walking ).

Check your unit should have came with a quick guide.. dig it out Read it..

others will chime in, on that model.

Read quick guide, use it.. then walk around the block.

DO NOT go in woods, Till after you read the manul & know the unit. will save you a cold nite in the woods.

that is good start for yea. can add more.. if needed.

The middle of no-where is not the time to try to figure out how to use it.
