GRRRRR Im so stupid

I didn't draw my eastern deer tag this year. I was planning on buying a western Willamette tag. I FORGOT TO BUY MY TAG!

Here the worse part. I live on five acres south of Hillsboro. I just wondered out to the garden to check things out, and guess what was there watching e me?

Thats right a nice tender forked horn.

He just wondered off over into the orchard when I came out. I could have easily gone back to the house and grabbed my .270 and filled my tag this morning

I won't have any arguing about my stupidity on the thread.

Not much to say........except you must have been very preoccupied to forget something as important as this.

Here's another forgetful tale, maybe this will somehow ease the pain.........

A friend at work told me this; his friends son drew a rifle antelope tag after applying for 13 years and yep, he forgot to pickup the tag before tag sale deadline.

Now that is really a tragedy......

if you think that is bad, a friend of mine drew a Huricane Divide sheep tag and wasn't going to leave until the Saturday afternoon that the season opened. he went down to the local sproting goods store to pick up his tag on his way out but it was to late. they drove to Salem on monday to see if they would help him but to no avail. he will never live that one down.
