Default Antique instruments

Does anyone know much about say a 1920's 4 string banjo? I'm trying to find information on one I have, because I Want to sell it, but I can't figure out value or anything. Also have an old flugal horn?

There seems to be several 1920"s banjos on eBay. Maybe you can compare there.

You might give this place a try.

Elderly Instruments Larry Scott White

I have an old Vega banjo that I had gotten some info about from Larry. They buy, sell, consign, repair, etc. It has been quite a while since I corresponded with him. I suppose he is still there. Worth a phone call anyway.

You will probably need make, model and serial number if at all possible. All of that was listed on the inside of mine. Had to remove the resonator to see it. Good luck. Those old banjos sure sound good.

Bob at Mckenzie River Music in Eugene deals in vintage instruments. I bet he could tell you something about it.

You could also try Bullfrog music in Corvallis. they have a few vintage instruments for sale and are VERY friendly.
