sturg fishing sat!

i was wondering if someone could tell me if i would be better off fishing the channel or out above kelly point by the docks! maybe even on the oregon side of the cr across from frenchmans bar?
i got my two good spots in the channel, but i was just curios if anybody knew what was doing better lately! i got plenty of fresh smelt so im good bait wise and i know some good spots, but and ideas on info what area was producing better would be much appreciated!

I have done pretty well by going out of Scapoose Bay Marina, turn left in the MC and run about 20-30 minutes at 30 mph. Look for deeper slots and fish slightly above them. Have got five keepers in this area. Turning right in the MC is supposed to be OK, too. Might try it myself this Sat

fished above kp last sat. and got 4 keepers 49",43",44" let a 42" go.

Wannacatchem you should go to the mouth of MC i did good to day there 44"

thanks everyone im thinking i might be going up around the docks above KP this sat i know its a good spot, i just was curious if there was somewhere down there doing better! thanks to everyone!

I'll be in the lower willie sat. Stop by and say hi if you see a 19' dark blue/tan smokercraft with a big white ifish sticker in near the stern. We'll be fishign for gators, amd maybe troll some for springers is the water is not too colored.

i will do that GBS ill be out there fishing for them gators also and then sun we are trolling the head of the channel for springers! ill just have to settle for this until my fishing partner UG gets back from mexico and we go down after some big native winter steelies!!!!
