Osu
OSU got homered. So sad.
The ball was not catchable plus the offensive player stopped and tried to come back to the ball.

Re: Osu
Thanks, Bob.
That means a lot, coming from a Husky and all.
But, of course, the game was not lost on that play.
Too many faux pas.
Nice effort overall though, and they beat the spread...

Re: Osu
Why in the world would Riley start chasing the points in the first half. Just kick your next 2 extra points and you win, even if you make one. They would of had to kick an onsides at the end, and everyone knows the odds of getting that back. If he out coached Carroll last week, then he made up for it this week with those bone head calls. Just venting!! Still love the BEAVS!!!

Re: Osu
Sure it was a bad call, but it wasn't at all what decided the game. Even if we are going to just focus in on crunch time, which is fine since it was when the game as up for grabs, all the OS offensive had to do on their last possession was get ONE first down and game over (who knows what would happen in OT). They went three and out...execution when it really counted cost OS the game. The best team won, plain and simple.
And yes, chasing points in the first half is just plain dumb coaching. Not sure why that was the call.

Said Riley, "I saw the one guy signal incomplete. Then I saw the flag come out about a half-hour later.

But it would have gave us at least 6 more points (1 missed PAT, 2 missed 2 point conversion, and 1 missed field goal) and probably the win.
Maybe even a win against Stanford.
