I'm headed for the salt tomorrow; back Sunday.

Chinook, Coho & cutthroat on the fly.

If I do good, photos & story on Monday...

Depends on what you mean by "weekend", - mine starts tomorrow AM. I plan to be on a SWW river as it's on the rise Thurs and Fri. I'll try to leave you guys a few for Sat and Sunday .

Friday on the NFN was a bust. Fished from about 10 to 1:15. I expected the river level to be up a little from its summer lows, but it was still really low and clear. It rained a little while I was there, but that didn't affect the river level. There were a few salmon rolling, but even the guys on the handicap dock by the hatchery intake were not getting any action.

It is Sunday now and the river graph shows that the main Nehalem at Foss got a big surge of water and is dropping. So, today (Sunday) may have been the day to be there, or certainly early this week.
