THE BANANAS?
Hey John or Peter, i was looking at the pictures in the other post and i remembered the Bananas.
Do you?
Maybe that was the reason we couldn't catch fish. We got banana oil on PILAR and it took that long run to WAK to clean it off?
Coincidence, I think not. To bad my picture of them did not turn out. I guess next time i will not by the disposable camera that is on sale...

Re: THE BANANAS?
Let me elaborate before we are banned from any other fishing activities  !!!!! While we were idling around the boat ramp waiting for the other dogs to get in the water for departure, out of the blue, there they were. Lurking half submerged, not 5 feet from the starboard side, was a discarded bunch of bananas floating around the harbor  . Now, we probably should have checked to see if some unsuspecting puker was attached to the bottom side, but we were more concerned about not letting them touch the side of the Pilar.
That is the story, no BANANAS were brought aboard the Pilar.

Re: THE BANANAS?
Whew, Petermac! Thanks for the clarification. That explains why the news didn't mention anyone swimming back to shore.
