CR Roll Call for the 4th Weekend

Miss B Haven will be fishing (out of Warrenton) Salmon Thurs, just hanging out or Sturg C&R Friday, Running for Tuna on Sat and back for Salmon Sunday. (Ocean willing and we don't burn out).

Pete, Keta, PeterMac, Jim (what's Jim's Moniker PeterMac?)and some nonifish crew scheduled.
Lessee..Kamloops will be there on Minaki with her crew.
I'll be scanning 11,16, 68 and 72 unless the chatter gets to much to take. Then it'll be just 16. I'll have the cell on too.
The Salty Dog Burgee will flying until the TUNA flag goes up on Saturday.

Who else is going out?

I'm kind of waffling between relaxing around here and dragging the boat down. Is the ocean open 7 days or just Sunday through Thursday like last year?

Aside from the usual temp breaks off of the SST, do you have any go to tuna spots, regular producing spot, (numbers) out of the mouth of the Columbia for Tuna?

No reports of any particular area this year (and no reports of sport caught at all). The local ******* are selling fish off the docks already so the fish at least WERE there. If the SST doesn't point me to a particular spot I'll be heading out west into walls of the canyon, maybe a little NW so the wind and swell is on my stern coming home. :smile:
I haven't heard any real "numbers" for the year up there yet. I hope to have some Saturday night though!

How far do you usually have to go out. Are the temp breaks usually the same distance out as Depot Bay?

Takeing a boat full out of tillamook on Saturday. Hopeing to limit out early in the morning and finish with a few bottom fish to go along with the meal. Good luck on the tuna hunt. I think your on to something big.

<font size="2" face="verdana,arial,helv">Yep, thats a cool display there at Long Beach. We will be there too. Doubt we could find ya though. Did you know that Ilwaco will have a display on Saturday night? That should be cool too.

I am leaving tomorrow night and heading for the cabin for the weekend. No fishing until Sunday though. Family time is important and I do have just a few minor boat maintence issues to deal with. Couple of bad wires to the GPS radar unit. Had it bench tested yesterday at Rodgers and it works great and they updated the software to boot. Get it? To boot.....

Have fun this weekend. Do you have an open seat the 20th? If so, I'd like to put my name on it I guess the crabbing for old Roy has been spotty, but they've gotten some salmon. So I suspect you'll do okay on Sunday.

Yes, I just heard the Illwaco is having a display on Saturday night. I was going to head home Saturday, but I just might have to stay another day!

We are going to camp on the beach and build a big fire and BBQ and eat and drink too much. Last year we brought the sun up!
