Detroit Lake Report

A week old but thought folks might be interested. Lake is definetely dropping fast and you will be using the lower ramp at mongold.

Fished the tip of the island closest to Mongold and couldn't keep fish off. Took a half hour to get my second rod out. Moved up the island in the main channell side and slowed a little but still a bite every few minutes. Headed across to the bathrooms at the Federal Launch and caught fish all the way accross. Biggest problem was finding size. A lot of 6 inchers.

All in all probably 50 fish that day to keep 10.

While everything seemed to work, the go to was : 1.5 oz weight; flashers; red or black wedding ring tipped with worm. Fished from 17-25 pulls. Was surprised the depth I had to go but the shallow rod caught nothing until i bumped up the lead and put it deeper.
