Well thought I would do my quarterly check in and see if any faces I know still drop a line here.

A lot has happened in the last year. I bought a hobby farm in between Jefferson and Scio. It is 36 acres and I own about a 1/4 mile or so of North Santiam River. Some of you might know the place. If you fish Greens Bridge; I bought the place across the road from the boat launch (where the blackberry covered and condemed home is). Anyway, wow.... that will keep a family busy. It was a mess when we got it and have remodeled the actual home and will have Jefferson's fire department burn the condemned home this fall for training.

So, if any of the old gang is still around; drop me a line.

Oh ya... for you local boys and you know who you are; NO! You can not kill the buck... duh

Well, I'm not one of the "old gang", but congratulations on obtaining that property!!

Should be plenty of very rewarding work for you and the family along with built in recreation!

Well thank you

I wish I had got a little more done sooner but I will be ready for the winter run...

I did take my son Logan out a few times and threw some jigs... it was fun to watch as he realized that he was standing on his river bottom

I went out and picked up two quarts of Scott's finest... I will be hitting the Alsea next weekend. I have not fed the pogey population since '05 so I am sure they are waiting.
