Since i didnt draw any tags this year i had to go hunt somewhere else.
I have always wanted to go moose hunting so here it is. My alaska trip went well. Last day of the hunt we got this 61" bull. I am on the right. We saw a few smaller bulls and lots of moose during our week long hunt but this was what i was after. He had 9 cows with him which for moose is alot of cows for one bull to have. He was standing on the bank of a small slough with all the cows around him so we called and he got ****** and came out in the open for the shot. 2 double lung shots from my 350 Rem Mag did the trick and the next 4 hours were spent packing meat to the boat in the dark. Which was only 200 feet away thank god. It was a great trip and i had a blast.
