Default Where would you go....

...if an old friend was in town for the weekend and wanted to do some "productive" fishing in SW Washington?

Thought about Merwin...Yale...Swift. Not sure how the cooler temps of this week have affected the bite.

Has anybody been out lately. Most of the threads seem to have dried up.

Thanks

Funny you should ask --- I had the same question! I am trying to plan something out for this weekend and was wondering why everyone stopped fishing.

I was up in New York fishing last week so that's my excuse.

I just started boat fishing this year and only tried Yale Lake once trolling for kokes with no downriggers. I didn't catch squat! Downriggers are on the X-mas list and hoping for a better year.

I'm thinking about hitting the Columbia River putting in at Stevenson. Hoping to coax out some bass or maybe jig for walleye.

Not sure that helped but it's worth a shot.

The koke action is slowing down considerably- that's one reason for fewer posts. If I was making up my mind on what to do, and it needed to involve "catching", it would be either Astoria crabbing or sturgeon. Either is a sure bet this time of year.
