OK Guys Columbia Bar (Ocean) North of spit

Looking for the nook hole north of the jetty. Somewhere Up North of the jaws and out aways. Has anyone of you had any luck fishing north of the bouys for the big ones. Uncle would head north a mile or four and mooch and then he would head out and fish a fathom line, if nothing was happening in close. Or is there any other holes or spots that hold big nooks outside the jaws. Dont get me wrong I do real well on nooks in general but I'm hopeing for a big upriver bright with sea lice. I hit alot of nooks near the cr bouy but looking for the honey hole.
