Default Magone lake?

Anyone fish it in the fall? Is it worth throwing the kayaks or float tubes in the truck during Buck season?

I've stopped there quite a few times on drives out to Idaho.
It's a pretty little lake; lots of old growth Ponderosa pines in the area.

However, it's the only real lake for quite a distance around and gets absolutely pounded by the locals, and surprisingly enough they allow gas motors on this tiny lake which can make it pretty unpleasant if you're in a float tube.

Expect some smallish wild brookies and probably a few hatchery pellethead rainbows.

Thanks for the input, I do appreciate it. Might have to throw in the float tube on the outside chance I tag out early and can spend some time fishing.
