It was nice meeting you. Just sorry we couldn't stay longer. It looked like things might get very interesting at any time.

Re: Much thanks to all at fish camp.
Here, here! Three Cheers for Fish Camp II.....Hip hip, hurray! Hip hip, hurray! Hip hip, hurray!
I just figured I'd stop by and express my deepest gratitude to all at Fish Camp II and for making it happen. I'm sure I'm not the only one who can say they had a blast. Certainly, never a dull moment. I do hope Pilar finally got some of that cobbler.
Tomorrow I will be heading to the East Coast where the clam "chowda" is knee deep. Perhaps I will surender to my insatiable need for fish-n-chips. Mmmmmmmmmmmmm, Fish-n-chips......Drooool......
However, when I get back around the 9th of July, I will be available for Crew if you need some quilified hands on board. Please see Pilar for reference. I don't need too much notice. Maybe a day or two would be great.
I got a feva'! And the only perscription is more TUNA!
Thank you one and all. You're awesome!
Ragnar

Re: Much thanks to all at fish camp.
I second your feelings Big Tule, by the way, if any of you have seen BTule, you'd know where he got his name . Just kidding, enjoyed your company out there Chris, hope you weren't in too much trouble when you got home .
Thank you very much for the hospitality Bluebeast, and congratulations again for your great day on the water saturday .
Ragnar, I wish I could have spent more time around you! You funny guy!!
Chris, I and Pilar had a very long and productive day on the water. There is alot more to this story, but I think it probably deserves a thread of its own . Stay tuned to the fishing channel, all fishing, all the time
Petermac out.

Re: Much thanks to all at fish camp.
Here, Here!!:
A great job by everyone involved. I had a awesome time meeting and fishing with such great people. Everyone I have met has been truly hospitable and it is something I very much want to be a part of. Thanks you to all those I had the pleasure of spendin time with, especially to George (Taylor's viewpoint) and Greg (Fishplay) for showing me the water so I can soon make a maiden voyage out of Newport in my own boat (20' Lund Tyee Magnum). Hopefully I can fly the Salty Dog flag, too.
Sunny K

Re: Much thanks to all at fish camp.
A big thank you to Blubeast for letting my boat sleep in the driveway, and a big thank you to Skein and Janis for letting me sleep in the 5th wheel. The conversation around fish camp II was informative at the times and hilarious the rest of the time. I am sorry I went to bed so early but as you can tell, I need my beauty sleep. If help is needed to get Jim and Janis's 5th wheel home, let me know and I will do what I can.
Thanks again to Blubeast, Skein and the missus.

Re: Much thanks to all at fish camp.
KUDOS by the ton to Bluebeast and his wife for allowing us to move our trailer in and hook up to power and water for Fish Camp II. You were also a BIG help and moral support while Skein was ailing. Thanks for being there for us.
We left shortly after you. Skein was still a little woozy and in some pain but it eased off about 30 minutes into the trip and got better from there. It meant a great deal to have someone there to keep things in perspective. Great Friends!!
It was great to meet more Ifishers at Camp and put names, faces and monikers together. What a bunch of characters!!!!
Much thanks to all those who brought contributions of food to Camp. The buffalo roast was delicious, Hoggemin. Sorry you guys were stranded and missed out. :depressed: (Some things to work on there.)
Thanks also to those who stuck around after meals and helped with "cleanup and put away". It's like taking care of your boat and fishing gear. No one would dream of leaving things setting out and not cleaned up for the next day. I appreciate the fact that I can go fishing also and not be seen as "chief cook and bottle washer". We girls like to make things great for all, but love to fish and have fun also. So thanks!!
Thanks so much to Taylor's Viewpoint and Gregotis for a wonderful time on the ocean. I had one of the best birthdays ever! You guys are tops in my book!!

Re: Much thanks to all at fish camp.
More thanks to Bluebeast for hosting hosting fish camp II This was my first time meeting Ifishers and you guys made me feel right at home. It was a pleasure meetting everyone. Wish I would have stayed another day. Didn't even make it to work on Friday. I'm not sure how you guys can handle 3 days of fishing out there as I was wore out after 1.
Thank you Pilar for taking me on my first trip out in the Big Blue. It was awsome!!! We limited on butts by 10:30 with the largest being Hoggemins 53 incher then headed for Tuna but didn'thave any luck. We did get to see some of that crytal blue water though.
On the way back in we had a small incident. Cruising along and everything is normal and then all of a sudden we come to stop and the motor is screamin' what just happened? Hoggemin and myself jump to the back of the boat just in time to see some big ugly fish swimming off. Appearently we hit a sunfish. Scared the wizz out of me. I had no idea what happened but everything still worked and we headed in.
All in all it was a great trip and I can't wait to do it again.

Re: Much thanks to all at fish camp.
Glad everyone had a good time at Fish Camp II. It was QUITE an experience.
It was good to have all help out. Apreciate your efforts at supplying food, drink & helping with cleanup. The clam chowder, buffalo roast, mud bugs, bluberry cobbler, birthday cheesecake, homemade rolls made for tight belts to go with the tight lines.
Especially glad Skein survived the trip and you both made it safely home.
Hope to see you all out on the salt.

Re: Much thanks to all at fish camp.
Thanks Mr./Mrs. Blubeast for the invite to Fishcamp!
Wish I could've been able to enjoy the food a little more but duty called on the ocean with the Big Dog and we made a "complete" day of it!
Good to meet some new folks too!

Re: Much thanks to all at fish camp.
I was not at Fish Camp, but was a beneficiary of the some of your catch.
PeterMac, you made our weekend when you drove out of your way to drop off that slab of halibut for the family. It made for two great dinners. You didn't have to do it, especially after your long day and late night, but it was greatly appreciated. I owe you one brother.

Re: Much thanks to all at fish camp.
Right on Conn, my pleasure!!!!
Actually it was a pleasure to show your wife and mother my bounty - Hali, salmon and ling cod. My cooler over-floweth. I want your wife to get excited about you going out in the salt with that new boat you have coming!
This is the place to learn about all the safty issues too. Stay in touch here, come to some of the gatherings and ask a lot of questions - there is a lot of power and knowledge on this board.
