Two years ago I ran them directly approx. 3' behind one of the new deep six divers with the mylar type tape on them. It was the larger size diver but that might not make a difference.

Yesterday when we decided to go coho fishing instead of bottom fishing I used Brad's poles that were rigged up with I believe a red e-z diver and a fish flash (I believe they are called) and took off the bait rig and tied a leader and coyote on. Brad assured me that the spoon would work behind the fish flash. I assured him that the 3.5 coyote in the chartreuse/ fishscale was a hot one and told him the story behind it.

It put 2 hatchery coho in the boat, one wild fish that we had to release, and at least one that I had on that came off before I saw it. I just have a lot of confidence in that spoon and you don't have to mess with bait or wonder how your bait is doing.

The spoon got tweeked after the first fish (something that never happened to me before) and I had to keep working it with pliers after every fish and it still kept on catching.

I left it on Brad's rod and maybe he might want to post a pic of the tweeked spoon so some of you can see what that color looks like. Pretty awesome looking piece of hardware.
