Default Better Knot Than Uni-Uni

According to Sport Fishing magazine, there is a better knot for connecting Dacron or big Mono to a supe-braid than the Uni-Uni knot. You lay out the lines past each other like the Uni-Uni, then tie the Dacron/Mono with a Uni knot and tighten, then make twelve wraps with the super-braid around the Dacron/Mono, then back thru the eye (first wrap) and thru the loop you just formed. Tighten the super-braid ensuring that the wrap stays a spiral and does not overlap. Trim the ends.

Claimed knot strength is 100%!

On knots, I've been using the 'blood knot' if I need to connect two pieces of line.... I've noticed that tuf - line, etc., slips, and I've been putting an overhand knot on the tag ends - when it pulls up tight, I don't worry too much. You know of a better knot to connect pieces of main lines? Thanks, LTF

Dbl uni works good. I will test the knot CB described here, it sounds like it will work.
