The party is lively at fishcampII tonight. The smell of victory is mixing with the spirits of tekillya.
Popeye landed 5 tuna at Newport today. Scratch fishing 15 miles SE of Tuna Town.
Plans for tomorrow have drastically changed. The last day of 'but fishing have turned into a Tuna Tourney... well, not officially or anything.
Several have changed their plans and will launch at Depoe at 05:00, leaving the keyhole at 05:30. Any others inflicted with Tuna Fever and wishing to join this convoy, show up at the docks at the appropriate hour.
Oh, by the way... remember it is Coho opener. If I recall, last Coho opener, I was awakened by idling diesels at about 4am. By 5am, the line to launch was backed up to the 101.
Keep in mind, this is scratch fishing and the forecast is in a worsening trend, although there is presently still no wind.
Heading out in pursuit of bullets tomorrow are:
WP
Pilar
Gregotis
Corrirod
Double Gaynor (?)
Puffin (?)
Possibly others, but the count was hard to define over the roar of the tribe.
*Disclaimer

- this is all based on what's been reported to me. I'm not actually in camp. I can verify that I spoke to Threemuch himself who was onboard the Julie Rose III. However, he did say that I couldn't see, touch or taste his meat. But ended the call by saying he had to go and cut his meat

So I can only assume he was, in fact, in possession of TUNA!
I did also speak wtih Puffin directly. He indicated that he was going to check with his crew before making final float plans for tomorrow.
There you have it, folks!
Fish ON!
