Welcome to the Salty Dogs!

Unfortunately you might have waited too long to get any info on the inshore hali's, I think most people have already left!

If you try some searches for this year and last you might find something in there.

As far as the coho go, I don't think there is any bad place to try for them. I think most people out of Newport will be fishing the Pile for nooks/coho. In fact there will be a few people fishing there for Hali's thru Saturday. If you want to know where any of us are at just call on VHF channel 78 for any Salty Dogs and I'm sure you'll find a ton of them.

I may be down there Friday night thru Sunday but it all depends on the forecast and whether we get the chance to chase the tuna or not.

Good luck and I hope to see you down there!

I dont have the co-ordinates but I hear tell that if you line up due west of Yaquina head just inside 30 fathoms a fella might hook up with a halibut
