Default tuna water

My God,
The SST shows a huge bath tub and the Rockpile bouy shows 60 degree water. It is hard to believe that the albacore are not swimming on the beach! What has anyone heard from the commervials? Has there been any reports yet from charters or sports? I can't believe that there are no tuna yet! I can feel the vibration on the deck already!

WP, don't succumb to the warm water madness. You need to find structure and a temperature break for tuna. So many people drive right past the prime fishing while seeking the warm water.

But having said that it is very good news. Thanks for the report.

Yeah, based on the SST's lately I have to wonder if the warm water isn't too close? Looks as though the good current breaks are way out on the other side of the warm water.

One thing about tuna hunting, you never know till go!
