Default Fire Danger

Well it's official, as of this morning my hunting area is shut down to fire danger. Make sure you guys check your areas before you head out. We have been hunting Weyerhauser land, but as of now we won't be. Grrrr....this puts a crimp in my weekend plans.

That may be for just the next few days. The hunter hotline is supposed to be "accurate" but there are several districts...might call that office for a double check. AS well, my forecast smells of some moisture on Thurs?! with lower temps through the weekend. might be enough to re-open.

It had better be a lot the signs are at a fire level 3 extreme fire danger as quick as they are to close unless they get 1/2 inch I will bet we are closed out till the season ends if there is not a dump coming our way.

Unfortunately, I think you're right. It's gonna take a good chunk of rain before they open up the land again.
