Heil....since when did I follow the rules anyway
Yep....I'm sorry, but I'm forced to say fall is almost here at Whidbey Island. The shorter days/longer nights, have sent the message, and nature is reacting accordingly. Nights are crisp with dew covering everything by morning. Soon, I'll have to fire up the log burner stove to take the chill off, but that's ok, I got all my wood cutting/splitting/stacking done early this year....just in case those salmon do decide to go on the bite, I'll be free to go
And one (view) from the beach, just after the sun rose on the sound, to reveal it's low tide
Also....the shorter days, cooler nights, bring new wildflowers out in abundance. They'll grow till the first frost, providing winter fat for the deer, and cotton tails....
I didn't have my camera last fall, and I missed all the brilliant fall colors....I can't wait to try and get some, to share with you guys
