Default Credit to Englund's

I believe in giving credit where it's due, so:
During the 2002 Sportsman show I bought a rod & reel combo from Englund's booth - It's a Pescaro rod & Shakespeare Tidewater reel for halibut & sturgeon. I got it because I needed a rig for halibut, it wasn't real expensive ($60 for the combo), I'd heard Englund's has a good name, and I bounced a 20 lb. weight off the ground with one just like it. That was cool! The guy in the booth said if anything ever went wrong with it to bring it in & they'd make it good. Well, somehow the top three eyes twisted to the right; actually it was the rod itself that twisted. I've never seen that before. Anyway, I called them & they said no problem, bring it in; they replaced it without blinking an eye. Pretty cool, huh? I'll do more business with them, that's for sure.

I wish I could get a credit at Englunds! Have to get an equity loan on my house to make the payments though. :depressed:
They are great aren't they?

When the statement comes from Englund's on the first of the month, the wife kind of cringes. Usually she doesn't speak to me until around the 20th
