Default Great Treestand Reading

Sasquatch: Legend Meets Science

I've sat in my tree stand for a total of 2 and a half days waiting for the elk to come by.

I've been reading this book and everytime I hear something rustling I expect to look down and see the creature looking back at me. I'm about half way through it now. This is great reading and it keeps mentioning areas I hunt. I'm literally walking distance of one of the sightings.

Creepy. I keep getting the shivers.

John and Bucky is at home

ps ... back when we used to be able to bait bears I read Alakan Bear Stories about bear attacks in the stand. NOT RECOMMENDED for the weak at heart. Those nights I got out of the stand when there was pleanty of light.

You know it must be one scary book if you don't get out of your stand for 2 1/2 days

The book is called "Alaskan Bear tales". I read it as a teen when I was trapping in Alaska. Those nights hiking the trap line by the light of the moon taught me alot about myself.

I remember reading your posts last year and seem to remember you taking a cow. Maybe from the tree stand.
Are you set up on wallow, or a trail?
