NW Oregon Goose Permit?

I have a friend who works at Big R and she said yesterday a guy came in with a question about his migritory stamp and she called ODFW and the guy from ODFW said he wasnt valid yet because he didnt have his permit. I thought one only needed this permit to hunt in NW Oregon? Anyone know for sure if the ODFW guy was wrong or does everyone need to get the permit?

PS the guy from ODFW said it was a misprint in the synopsis

Same thing happend to my Buddy at Oak Grove Joes, except he called ODFW and they assured him he didn't need the Goose card yet, and ODFW also explained it to the Gal in the store, and she still said she was told Everyone needed a a card in order to get a stamp and refused still to sell him his Stamp. I think more training is needed.

This is bull, anyone can by stamp's.What are they gonna do make stamp collecter's get a license and a NW Permit so they can buy a stamp.

Yeah I talked to a ODFW guy and he said that it was wrong. He isnt sure why someone from ODFW would say that and is calling Big R to make sure it doesnt happen again

No need for a permit card for a few more weeks i havnt picked up mine yet for fear of losing it.

I think they sent out the post cards this year as a one time thing to let people know then they will nto do it again next year. So while it maybe a waste of money now in the future it will be beneficial, plus there are not alot of guys who get informed on the internet like we do. They rely on phone or a card in the mail. I think phone would have been a better option....
