Default PCmover Reviews?

Sounds too good to be true, but I finally have my new computer and I'm ready to try this PCmover program... Thought I'd ask, first!

Never tried it.

As long as one can be selective about what is transferred. Why not give it a go.

It mentioned moving registry values. I wouldn't want one byte of my old decrepit, senile, mangled registry move to the new box.

Unless there are programs that you don't have the original installation disks for, windows xp and vista can transfer all your files and settings to your new computer pretty easily, either through your home network or a usb cable, no need to buy a new program.

Ha. That's right. I just did that at work a month or so ago.

Had to make a disk on the new machine and then load the program on the XP machine and did the transfer through our small office network.

One could easily do it through a router.
