Week-day-warriors?
I am curious if there are any more dogs out there that fish predominately or exclusively during the week? I work on weekends and would love to have more hunting partners that want to or need to fish during the week. Tuna time is almost as close as my desire is strong. Lets get the planning and hunting going! I would like to have wolf packs working all the time we can!
We can get a ton of excellent fishing in in the next couple of months!

Re: Week-day-warriors?
I fish somewhere virtually every Thursday, some Wednesdays and Tuesdays and occasional Mondays and Fridays. I work nights so my days are funny (not haha). On the first day I have a late start!
You would be welcome to join my crew for Thursday fishing...it is usually my regular partner and sometimes my mate. I usually fish from Newport but love Depo and have been out of Garibaldi twice. Good mobility and my truck is reliable...I live in Lebanon so Newport is closest. I am sure we can get more weekends if we talk it up enough!

Re: Week-day-warriors?
Tuesdays and Wednesdays off thru the rest of this year. I will be able to get some weekend time in but mid-week will be my bread and butter days.

Re: Week-day-warriors?
Thursdays, Fridays and sometimes Wednesdays.
My son is out of school. When I return look out Salmon. Garabaldi is closest followed by the Columbia River Bar. I love Newport and am looking forward to trying Depoe.
The Columbia river is less than an hour away.
We must get together when I return from Ireland.
Bait Boy and I are on the same schedule and fish together often. My son will live the summer as my deck hand and First Mate in Training.

Re: Week-day-warriors?
After the 20th (assuming nothing changes) I'll be availabe seven days a week and plan on filling my freezer with fish this summer!
I've got an 18' Boulton so I don't have as much freeboard as I'd like and it's only 12 deg. but I've tried to get it ready for the good days. Two batteries, two bilge pumps, GPS, 30 gallon main, 14 gallon aux. tanks. On good days I may have room for crew, on less than perfect I may be looking for a ride.
I'm in Hillsboro but can trailor anywhere, have a good truck if someones got a bigger boat but needs to get it there.

Re: Week-day-warriors?
WP,
I'll have every Friday off in July and every Friday and Monday off in
August and plan on spending most of those days off fishing out of Depoe Bay
this summer. If you need a running partner on any of those days and plan to
run out of "The Worlds Smallest Port", stay in touch as TUNA time gets closer!

Re: Week-day-warriors?
I love Depoe FA, would take great pleasure in runnin' with you there. My plan this summer is to fish every reasonable day in July and August, for tuna. I will also fish salmon for as long as they last and fill with bottom fish when I can (I love to bottom fish!) I will go out of Newport or Depoe primarly. Familiarity breeds confidennce and competence. If any of you want to go and the report is good, let me know. I often have an open seat. BTW...20' Hewescraft Searunner with appropriate gear. good ride for a tin boat. Quite a good sea boat. Front is open but the majority of the space is filled with a latchable bin that is hard mounted to the floor. Holds lots of fish and leaves little space for unwanted water. I fish three comfortably and will fish four if friends need a ride. Salmon is two on riggers and 1-2 on divers. Tuna is three hand lines and three stand-ups (could be 4 handlines if I get greedy). Hope to meet and fish with many of you weekday folks!

Re: Week-day-warriors?
Right now I have 7 days a week off and would like to fish the Ocean I haven't been in the ocean fishing much but would pull my weight and then some. With some experiance I'll take my 20'Motion Marine out in the salt for some Salmon trips. I don't have the range for Tuna but would like to go any time. I have my own gear and then some.
