platform
This is not an ad since I'm not charging.
Coupla years ago, I rescued a half-moon shaped platform from the river that looks like it may have come off the back end of a big boat. Straight edge seems to hook into a kind of serrated receiver. About three feet wide.
Any of you big salties either know what it might be or would you want it?
(N0, I haven't figured out the photo route yet...)

Re: platform
Bill,
How long and how wide? Three by what? Do you think it may have been a swim step or could be used as one? If so That would be sweat. I need a swim step for my new ride.

Re: platform
It's 38 inches wide across the flat part and 24 inches deep, so maybe it is a platform of some sort...says Sea Eagle on one side and FB-1 on the other. I don't see anything much like it on the Sea Eagle web site, though. The flat edge looks as though it fits into some sort of fixed mount. There are two vertical openings, slots, about two inches long and half an inch wide...maybe for stabilizers or something. I'll probably trot it down to West Marine one of these days...
Unless someone wants it.
Actually would make a neat little folding table top in my new shop if I drill some hinges into it.
Come to think of it...

Re: platform
Does it look like this?
If so, it is part of an inflatable hull floor from this boat or one like it. sea eagle instructions
see page 3-4

Re: platform
Dang, Rick. You are quite the detective! I see a career for you in maritime accident investigations....
Do ya think someone lost their tender at sea?

Re: platform
That's exactly it!
I googled the same thing, but couldn't find the right drawing, I guess...(too early and no fish today, either).
It's got enough dimples to be a lead weight holder, but I'll probably use it for a fly tying bench or somethin...
Cool...thanks much, everyone
(and if someone is missing one, lemme know)
