Default East lake Report

R.D. and I spent a couple of days at East this past weekend. We caught a total of 34 browns and 1 spawned out male koke. Most of the fish were in the 14 - 16 inch range with a few exceptions. A couple of 3's, R.D's 3 1/2 lb'er and a 27 inch 7 3/4 lb'er. A pretty good weekend overall.......... Right up to the point that I fell in the lake. Yup, I did it I stepped,..... more like jumped from the dock to the boat and didn't quite make it. I know, bad idea I figured I'd better tell on myself before someone else does it for me

would you mind sharing your technique?
mostly fished east lake earlier in summer and had best luck catching kokes on jigs directly behind your boat location and far bank.

Nicely done, Mike! It is not an easy time to be pulling big browns right now, but you sure got it done.

I considered taking a swim up there last weekend, but the water temps are dropping fast. I think they have a club for hard core cold water swimmers like you

Bravo. Great Report. Thanks for the call when I was in PA watching the Beavs get worked over like the lower Willamette during Springer season. As you could tell, I was drinking my sorrows away.

Man, that's quite a few this year for you for fish over 5 lbs now, isn't it? I think I've forgotten what one looks like
