I talked with him by e-mail last week when I was in Montana shotting prairie dogs, I think he was in Bend shooting sage rats.

Re: Where\'z Skein?
Hey, I'm here! Not to worry.
I had to come up to Tigard on business Friday morning, and we had a trip planned to Rogue River on Saturday, so two round trips to Portland and a round trip to Medford would have figured out to be about 800 miles for the weekend. Not exactly what we wanted to do.
Sounds like you guys had a good turnout and a good party. Sorry we missed it. Hopefully this next hali opener will be a perfect tuneup for torpedos at Tuna Town.
Speaking of which, Blubeast is making noises about FishCamp II, the Sequel, so maybe we can have another get together during flattie season. Just bring your appetite because we ate like kings. Fun time.
I better go get on the "Open seat" thread since we don't have a ride yet, (hint, hint to all you guys reading this) and The Halibut Queen thinks there's another big 'un in her future.
It's killing me not to have a boat. Just killin' me.

Re: Where\'z Skein?
Your time is coming soon, brother, soon. Jim, I want in on the fishcamp. The 'Pilar' and a new crop of Halibut virgins will be patrolling the halibut grounds if it is at all possible to work out the startup schedule to miss the days.
We need to talk about the GPS project too.
Don't blow it for me and give away the gaff initiation ritual. Or if you do make sure you tell the whole sordid tale like you threatened to do.

Re: Where\'z Skein?
If its anytihing like what I did to Pilars butt on day one, I can only imagine what the first timers were thinking.
Did I make him mad? looks like someone forgot their car keys.... or maybe it was his cellphone..
The third time's the charm... or was that the fourth.
