Anyone fishing out of Newport or Depoe Bay tomrrow?

Might head that way for a little nearshore bottom fish action and a looksee out west if conditions are right.

Ug....FA will be out of Dopey Bay- you can count on it. Give him a yell (ch 80 I think) if you're close. :grin:

UG...the ocean is great this evenning....no wind and a greasy looking swell.... I am thinking north pile but it will be out and back because I work all night.

2 days ago 2 guys limited on chinooks , (all about 30 lbs.) and all within 40 ft of the bottom.

If I go I will be on 78.....Dan

How deep of water? I've been hearing 30 fathoms...I guess you could mooch that deep, but trolling that deep would be difficult!

Out of Dopey Bay Saturday the fish were out at 61 fathoms ... what few there
were. The BIG bite is presently North, up by Pacific City in about 50-60
fathoms. Some big numbers coming from up there!
