Default Yeah, that could happen............

Hi, I just went Santana's with a dear friend.

Rafael is a little puzzled by us, I think. He can't figure out why we don't dance. He offered to play our 'Music' (bring your own cd's), dim the lights, fire up the glitter ball and pour tequila.

Dances with tuna here ... I could not explain that although I could dance around tuna fish battering my floor and spraying blood while cranking a reel and swinging the fish bat .. I can't dance in the conventional sense of the word or even carry a tune in a bucket. So if any of you dance ... make Rafael a happy man and bring your music and partner to the party.

I think the idea was planted on the Terrafin SST thread...

Tom, when all the rigs tied to the boat keep going off as soon as they hit the water again, the fish on deck are piling up and flipping around and the boat keeps driving it's a real circus. I have trouble remembering to stick and whack every fish as it comes over the rail.

A friend of mine described it once as a one legged man at an *** kicking contest. You have to see it to believe the carnage.

It's been a long time since I cut a rug under a disco ball and I bet Santana's doesn't stock enough tequila to make me do it again!

"He Who Dances With Tuna",
your writing is becoming a bit cryptic--one might even say Hemingwayesque...have you considered a career as an author?
You have truly become a man of the sea--and are worthy of the title Captain. You however, should never try to dance my friend. Leave that to the nimble little folk like me.
Call me if you need an editor, I work for fish slime.

Oh, but Pilar can dance. You should see his ballet. It is a sight to behold! I wish I could add video taping to the list of activities that occur during one of those incredible feeding frenzies... but alas, driving the boat with one foot while reeling in fish using both hands leaves nothing left for camera operation.

Woop! Not so fast PM! I have installed my spotting-scope window mount to the dash rail on my boat. If I make it out to tuna-town, my Sony CamCorder will be capturing the mayhem. How I'll get the blood and slime off it when I'm done?.........I'm still working on that.....

M-Y - thankfully there's no slime to worry about, just blood. But unless you've got a voice activated remote control, you'd better plan on doing any video-taping while your lines are safely on-deck because if you're within eyeshot of us and we're busy... U goanna be bizzy too!
