Re: black rocket -vs- flame thrower
Roy, dude my Bozon flux detector is off the scale. Pour a box of rock salt in the tub and take a bath.
Look at the motors, they have huge roots blowers on them!!!!
This is just what you need to run in the unlimited offshore races in November at Key West.
That and a Texaco card with a $5000 limit.
Where would you put the fish? And wouldn't you get tired of the continuous Coast Guard escort and frequent searches for drugs?
Yep, Cigarette boats are the preferred vessel for Carribean drug smugglers.

Re: black rocket -vs- flame thrower
Ya I know John, that thing would go like crazy, pretty much a worthless boat in my opinion. I saw one at Oregon City this spring, some guy running his cigar boat and his eye candy sitting up on the front wearing next to nothing
I did a search today looking at boats and have no idea how that post came up with my search parameters.
I was looking at the listing and thinking I could race the black rocket to the butt grounds, but couldnt afford to fill the tanks on it when I got back. :depressed:

Re: black rocket -vs- flame thrower
Just for your information, there is a reason you don't see any of those fountains on the North Oregon Coast, because the hull can't take the pounding. That boat might make it out to the "but" beds once maybe twice. But the hull would become "unseaworthy" quickly.
It's a big lake (south Florida or the gulf) boat, I wouldn't race that one title for title, just for money. The title wouldn't be worth much after a run against the "BLACK ROCKET".
FYI the cost of a 2003 model SAV III (manufactured in Oregon) with twin 225s $112,000.00 new!

I think I'll stick to my old 20 knot trawler thank you very much! It might take me a little longer to get out but I can have Latte's and breafast of the way! Then of course there's the porcelin potty.

Re: black rocket -vs- flame thrower
Sure,
You can race that one too. They'll both make great artificial reefs for fishing in a couple of years.
