Default Rockpile anyone?

Right now they're calling for 3 and 8 for the weekend but the way it's been all week it may not be all that bad. If it stays the same as this week I might head down Sat. for a combo bottom fish chinook trip, anyone else?

If I had a functioning boat, I would be in! Anyone who is headed out and looking for crew, give me a call or drop me an email!

Gregotis,

damn, I'd be there in a second -- but I made plans to be in Bend for the last non-fishing weekend of the spring/summer for me.

I just figured my sick days (120) and vacation days (35) that I have accumulated. So, what was the day again? July 1 or something -- I'm not feeling well -- TUNA FEVER!!! The office really gets a kick when I call in sick and they can hear my motor running in the background.

Everybody have a great weekend -- bonk some fish for me...

I went to the Pile onTuesday. I spent 3 hours trolling to north end and then ran to the south end before calling it a day.
I fished ever depth and just the usual bunch of lings. I never had one salmon struke.
The water is changing and there were a lot of rips at the south end.

The commercials were running way out.

My so was on the inner reefs last night and saw one guy with 2 chinooks caught almost 30 miles out at a depth of 120.

I hope for better reports soon....cheers

Hey Dan, how are ya? Glad you made it back from your trip!

Tell us, what color was the water at the pile & did you meter any bait at all? My last trip out it was gin clear & no bait to be found. Down in N. CA they're getting the upwelling & loads of krill & wide open salmon fishing when the weather lets them out. I sure hope this is only temporary up here....

See ya........MM

I been looking at bouy reports, reading weather forcasts, and reading ifish reports for two days.

I'm on my way to lay a harry eye on it. Should be launching at south beach about 0600.

Try me on 78.

We've changed plans for Garibaldi due to Wak's lack of salmon on wed. I'm not liking the afternoon tide though.

Mark it was a good color...not the brown stuff full of jellies. more the green 8ft vis stuff.
I didn't see any bait on the graph but I did catch some lings with needle fish in them

Maybe soon...I can't go this week but next week I will know...maybe someone will share a good report this weekend...
