SW Washington Early Goose

I was up early today for the early goose opener here. We got to our spot at 4am and sat. Shooting time came and we sat.......Finally about 815am we had a flock come through and my buddy popped up to take them, but nothing. The box of shells he bought were duds and the birds flew off. We saw a ton of other flocks, most were constantly moving around and high. We did have quite an airshow with all the ducks around us. We were checked by F&G 3 times today. One of the wardens seemed clueless that ealry goose was here already. Great day today even with no geese, but the duck opener looks promising with all the birds in the areas. Felt good to be out in the blind again at daylight.

I was going to admonish you until I checked the regs again. Area 2B has a 15 day season, SWEET. Hopefully, you can post up some pics soon of your success with 'non-dud' shells.

That is the nice thing here, a 15 day season. Not a lot of spots to hunt though as a lot is thick mud and private farmers fields.
