Home decoration, bachelor style..
I cleaned the fridge today, and promptly restocked it...
Since I work for a beer dist. company I get all kinds of neat stuff, like posters and cool little critter footprint stickers.

Even though I don't like KS light I had some fun with the stickers in my house today.
I highly doubt there is a woman in this universe who would put up with this.
Probably why I'm still single at 40........

Re: Home decoration, bachelor style..
Sorry, but that looks pretty tame compared to our garage! We have a beer fridge, chest freezer and two upright freezers...covered in stickers, magnets, pictures and sayings. The walls of the garage are also covered in pictures/posters.
Marital Status = Married
PS...the kitchen fridge is off limits for now
Can post pictures once I get back from fishing...

Re: Home decoration, bachelor style..
Now hang a few photos of outdoor writers and mounted trophies on the wall ....
I visit many bachelor friends and some of the most popular items for decoration are
1) Reload bench, reload supplies, ammo, guns.
2) Duck paraphernalia.
3) Duck dog.
4) Boat and all the stuff that goes with a boat.
5) Harley on display in the living room.
6) Tools and things in various stages of repair.
the list is endless.
Nice post. BTW things like mustard, A-1 sauce and ketchup keep forever in the fridge.

Lesse', I think I can cover most of that list.
Reloader, tying bench, rods, guns, even kept some of my stuffed animals from kidhood(just to let the gals know I have a sensitive side... )
Oh, got one of my boats in the foyer also....

Old school(two piece) RPL's, SP, LL, RPLXII, DSII. Most of the rods are on the ceiling or in newer rod/reel combo tubes now.

Bachelor style points for the open door.
Minus for the made bed tho. You expectin' company?
And how many times at 2:30 AM did your shin find the chainsaw before you put the cover on?

I expecially like the fire extinguisher. But I would not want a rifle pointed at me while I was sitting at the reloading bench. Great man cave.

I once decorated my Xmas tree with white lights and Coors Light cans....
I have dead animal hides hanging from the rafters of my garage and I keep a firearm in my unmentionables drawer. I raised pheasants in my living room, and fed sick turkey chicks chicken broth to make them well. And I've been known drive my pickups in various thicknesses of mud... So there are ladies that may enjoy it.
I'd say all your missin is a hound dog sleeping with you....
The stickers are a nice touch, and of course good choice of beer. Maybe a jar of green olives or some pickles and then chocolate syrup to round out the fridge.
Good post!
PS- I NEVER make the bed. So it seems you are somewhat refined.

Brings back memories of long ago.

Re: Home decoration, bachelor style..
Okay, I did notice the lantern on the nightstand right off.......... but what about the pink satin looking window drapes?? Is that for setting the mood?? LOL
And we all know, the stainless/synthetic black goes with anything, but the wood stocked rifle is for them special dates!
this thread cracks me up more and more, and looks like Raggity Ann is having a good time as well.

Re: Home decoration, bachelor style..
Alright, part Deux.
After further review of my own post/pics it's become apparent I am quite the clutterbug/pack-rat.
But, I AM the king, so I can do that.
It's good ta' be the king....
Another lesson for you young-un's here. Driveway only big enough for a compact car? I am a guy, if we want to make it fit by gum we'll find a way. A little creative parking and one can fit a truck, driftboat and two broken BBQ's in there.
Over the kitchen door....
The mad scientist work station in all it's knick knacked glory. the baseboard heater below is unhooked, I had to due to all the cords back there. The one on the back wall heats the place just fine, interior of the studio is only 30'x17".
Catch all table in the kitchen. Those little electronic AFLAC ducks are quite useful for leaving annoying messages on answering machines.
The charging area, everythinig from cell phones to predator callers to electric razors.
Real guys dig Heathcliff man!
Even the piano can't escape the clutter. Real guys have a picture of their mama in more than one place. Chicks dig guys who can make music. If I could find one brave enough to get past my foyer and get enough brews down her to make me sound good that might make for a fun evening.
But dangit, then she'd start hanging around more often, buying my clothes, re-arranging the house and wanting one of those comnimt, coonminemt, commimt ACK! The last long term relationship I had was three weeks of hell!
I am bachelor man! I am a guy!
Hear me roar!

Re: Home decoration, bachelor style..
I went fishing the other day and after I put my waders on I realized something had fallen into both of my boots...
what could it be? a beer, line spool, golf ball...NO, NO NO...it was a Glade air freshener, one in each foot.
That's why i got married.
