Today was tough fishing out on the salt as the weather was forecast. I believe Depoe Bay was restricted to vessels 40' and over. No trailer sailors were out today because of the bar restrictions and/or ocean conditions.
The charters that fished the ranch didn't fare too well but this particular one fished the rose and got all 6 of his fish for his customers but was unable to catch a crewfish for the captain.
They also caught 4 nice ling.
The customer on the far right is an ifisher and I believe he said his ifish name was "Always Fishing". Been a member for a long time and think he said he was around # 200.
This was there largest halibut and believe they said it was 47". They used my scale and believe they said it weighed 53 pounds. Nice fish!
I just looked on the chart I posted on a different thread the other night and it shows a 47" halibut weighing on average 49.3 pounds.

Actually my 100 pound scale might be off a little but that is right in the ballpark of what the chart showed.
