Default Is tomorrow a nogo?

What are the chances that tomorrow will be unfishable? The report looks slightly better but it seems that no one is showing interest in fishing it on Saturday. What are the thoughts and possibilities?

Slim to none. Pilar and I will already be there, so if we wake up, take a walk to the end of the road and see a flat, glassy ocean, we'll hop in the boat and go. But it is very unlikely that's going to happen. It's dang nasty out there. Julie Rose III is out now that the bar opened. Popeye says "E-Ticket Ride"...

Not nice at all!

I would if I could WP. I've got prior obligations but the forecast definately looks marginal. Unfortunately it'll probably be one of those "make the call in the morning" trips unless the Stonewall buoy shows steady improvement thru-out today.

The bar at Newport will likely be closed to vessels under 40' again. Depoe Bay is restricting to 24' so some may get out from there. My skipper is going to give it shot from Depoe in AM.

FA - There is this sweet aluminum cat moored on the end of one of the docks I was eye balling last Sunday and I thought me and few friends would borrow her.

Capt. Kujo is my ride. Never fished for a halibut before so this a new experience for me. In more ways than one I would imagine.

<font size="2" face="verdana, arial, helv">WaterDog, I was told this afternoon that Depoe Bay upped the restriction to 40' also. I don't think any trailer sailors went out of Depoe Bay Friday and aren't figuring they will get out Saturday either. But you never know.

<font size="2" face="verdana, arial, helv">Is that the Mark's chinook assassin boat you were refering too? It is pretty sweet! Mark is a pretty cool laid back kind of guy too.

A sad and grevious day when you can't get out. Good thing I was able to nab some fresh water tuna in the last few days. Well I guess there will be other days.
