Default My first Oregon Halibut (pic)

I've fished for the big boys in alaska, but this was my first trip off the Oregon Coast. These where caught last sat. out at the ranch while fishing with CD356. As you can see, he's got one sweet boat too. It's always good to go out with someone who knows the water, his boat, and what's going on around him.
We limited out, and cau ght a few more bonus fish as well. Did'nt suck being us!
I wish my boat was bigger but it's not, so I'm looking forward to bottom fish and some trolling out there soon. Hope to follow one of you dogs out sometime.
Thanks again CD for the open seat, and
I wish you the best of luck this week out there.
Beat that one that's in the picture above the helm.

Nice fish, Brad. How deep did you have to go to find them?

Someone pointed out to me after my 'but trip that when taking photos you should show the white side of them. They show up better that way. I would have never thought of that until they showed me the pics.

Looking forward to the upcoming sturgeon trip.

Rick

it was around 600' at the ranch, but with the fast drift, I was constantly releasing line to stay on the bottom, so I bet I had over 700 plus change.
