Default A Few More Late OTC Pics... and other Tuna pics from this year..

I know these are seriously late additions, but I've been out of town on business until today and this is the first chance I have had to drop them off my computer.

Team Sealicious passing us as we round the corner by the Sow and piglets.

Here is a photo of the sunrise while we where making our way to the starting line

Operation Grady lining up at the South end of the Starting Line-Up with the Coast Guard Cutter.

Carmen taking a break from some of the Crazy action!

Who's running the boat??? The captain seems to think he get's to fish too!!!

It was to busy to spend much more time shooting photo's this weekend, but here are a few from the week before....

AJ with Tred Barta at the first ever Tred Barta all you can eat Crab Feed!

We even got Jen to pose for a few photo ops with Tred!!

Tred with Little Rootbeer Waggon...(Beer Wagon's son). Can't you see what a big fan he is??

Dave with the infamous mallet freshly signed by Tred!

A bigger visitor....

The Deadly Williamson Bait....

I even get to catch one now and again???

My friend Andrew with his first tuna!

My friend Lilith with her first tuna!!

Getting visited by a bigger sort of animal!

It's sure hard to stop them from beating their tails!!!

A foggy morning start from Tillamook...

And a shot from last year just because I like it so much! It's a school of sunfish that invaded the boat! I was fishing with Dick from Tuna Time and we were landing Tuna through this school. It was amazing to watch the tuna coming up in a death spiral with the sunfish surrounding them!

I would love to see the other photos. The ones that were there are great. I think I may have them, if you gave any to Dick.

Bernie, thanks for the heads up. About every other time I post pic they get lost for some reason. I always check when they go up but somehow in the next 15 or 20 minutes they get lost...???

Anyway, here they are correctly!!

Nichole,

The only one I gave to you and Dick was the very last photo. It was shot last year on the last day we fished together, everything else is from this year. Now hopefully I get a chance before long a spending a day behind the lens instead of running the deck! I love to fish, but I spend all winter wishing I had shot more photo's!!

I hope you enjoy them...

John

John, so many guys give me photo's from their time fishing with Dick that I loose track. I would love to have that last image in high res if possible.
Thanks, Niki

Do you guys bleed & ice the fish or just leave them out in the sun to cure?

Yeah, at some point you need to stop putting the lines back out don't you?

I always wait till I get home to smoke my fish but I may have to rethink that now.

They do look way too clean to be bleeding fish...but it's easy to poke fun when you have no idea what was really going on!

I saw a pic of Beer Waggin with Tred. BW had the same expression. Guess it runs in the family.

Great pics John. Shoot more, shoot more. Take a break from the action to capture those magical moments. 9 months off the the water will leave you wanting.

I love it when the bite is so hot, the fish just stack up like cord wood before you even know it.

I would have loved to get that image as well, unfortunately it was only myself and Dick Crossley on the boat and we were both hooked up...I should have slapped the rod in the holder and shot the pics, but I might have got yelled at...

Dano- I hear you on shooting more. I really want to, but I always get sucked into working back there???

Thanks Kerry, I appreciate the compliment!

Little Rootbeer Waggin and Beer Waggin. Like father like son.

Before I left the dinner Saturday night I rubbed Beerwaggin's head for good luck next year.
