What is the state record?
....also, what is the state record for Wahoo? I'd like to burn a tank of gas trying to catch one someday.

Re: Name that Tuesday Fish....
I saw the carcass when we were carking our tuna last night. Had no idea that was you.
If (and when) I catch one of those you'll be able to hear me all the way from the Rockpile to Garibaldi -- without a radio! Tell us the story!

Ah yes the "hold it out for the camera" trick. Reminds me of the Amberjacks of the Gulf Coast .. it hit a natural cedar plug - 5 waves back on the outside spread .. middle of the day a few miles W of the banana. gave a good fight for its size - would have been great on lighter gear.. we ended up netting it cuz it was so "purdy".
Any recipies appreciated
We did hang into a big fish on the way way way back - right after an outside rod hit - never seen a rod nearly double over in the rod holder like that before. Fought it for a good 30 minutes it just went down with more give than take. finally came un buttoned and we never saw color.. definately a very big fish !!

There were quite a few last year also. Seems there were more Dodo's though than this year.
