Default \'BUTS @ NEAH

Well, The first Hali trip was all and more that you hear about!!
Just got back from Neah. Seas calm and 'Buts galore!! Not real big ones. Average about 20-30lbs.. Lots of Lings and Bottomfish...
Worth the trip up there!!

Where were you fishing for the 'buts? I'm heading up there in a week.

Thanks.

kingfisher,

Did you go out on a charter or was this a do it yourself trip? I've been thinking about giving Neah Bay a try one of these days.

Thanks,

Did alot of reading before we went. Figured we would try it first before we spent the big bucks on a Charter and get sick out there..
Just make sure if you do got out on your own that all your equipment is in good working order!!

Good Luck!!

<font size="2" face="verdana, arial, helv">We were in an 18' Weldcraft w 115 yamaha.. It worked fine but we had awsome conditionions out there.. In the Staights it was a little rough at times but we just took it slow..

You have a nice boat.. The only thing with the Sportsman is you dont have the sides..

You just need to watch the Weather!!

You could easly do some Great bottom fishing if it got to rough.
