Default Left Handed Semi-Auto Shotguns?

Im in a pinch and a friend of mine is looking for a smaller framed Left Handed semi-auto shotgun for his wife. I was thinking something with a 26" Barrel would be best but they all pull the same. Any suggestions?

Whats your price range?

I would look into a beretta technys. Really light very balanced gun shoots 2 3/4 or 3 in. A little pricey but a gun like that will last a long long time.

I would also look into the beretta citizen 12 ga. Some of the bigger 3.5 inch guns are a little bit of a club and maybe a little heavy and not the smaller frame you are looking for.

There is also a Beretta Urika model that shoots 2 3/4 and 3 that is a smaller frame as well.

If you go used look into the beretta 390, benelli SBE I.

These five are very durable and will last a very very long time and you will get what you pay for. If the price seems a little steep dont worry you will get what you pay for an more. Especially if the gun will be used alot.

If it will have minimal use. I would look into a remington 1100 auto. Good reputable gun and the smaller frame you are looking for.

I thought the question was for a left handed gun... As far as I am aware (and I used to sell these) none of those guns except the SBE I is available in a left handed model.

While I do agree on all of these guns being excellent guns, I think the ticket for a small frame left handed semi auto would be a Benelli M1 or M2. These are recoil operated, so they kick a bit more, but are still a very comfortable and well fit gun, not to mention very reliable. I'm only guessing on the reliability of the M2, as I have only shot the M1, but they are basically the same gun, only cosmetic differences.

The other option is to go with an O/U... but that was not your question either.

Might talk to Moe Bragg's at Shooters Emporium on 162ND just south of Stark he might have a left handed stock for a 1100.

I know at least technys, and the al-390 you can as a friend of mine has a 390 and technys i have seen a left handed model. So i would guess the citizen would as well. Maybe they have to be special ordered? Im not sure.

One thing i would offer up is to go out to Mitchells and have her try some. They have about anything you would want and im sure they have some left handed models. Maybe give em a call see what you can find out.

The Remington 105CTi has bottom feed and eject which takes care of the left hand problem and weighs about 7lbs.
